The Two Great Commandments

On these two hang all the law and the prophets. — Matthew 22:40

Mark 12:30

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment."

Mark 12:31

"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."

The Law shows us the gap. The Cross closes it. Walk, then, in the Spirit.
