Add a Wayland compositor session alongside the existing X11 setup for better security isolation and modern display stack.

  • Evaluate Wayland compositors (Sway, Hyprland, or custom)
  • Test with Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA (where possible) GPUs
  • Screen sharing and screen recording support
  • XWayland fallback for legacy X11 applications
  • Session selector at login (X11 or Wayland)
  • Verify all Alfred apps work under Wayland
