Out-of-box NVIDIA GPU support is a top request. Currently listed as partial support in the HCL.

  • Package nvidia-driver from Debian non-free-firmware
  • Add driver selection hook to build system (nouveau vs proprietary)
  • Hardware detection at boot (lspci GPU check)
  • Test with GTX 1080, RTX 3090, RTX 4090 series
  • CUDA toolkit availability for AI/ML workloads
  • Document driver switching in Alfred Linux docs
